Is there a pervert living around the corner?

Just see if this scenario seems familiar, too familiar to many of you. Leave me a comment and tell me about your experiences. Also make sure and leave me a comment or get in touch with me if you have a church group, or some other charitable foundation that is in need of constant funding.

Your little girl comes home from school. She is proudly showing off all the envelopes, displays, and product to sell candy for her band at school.

You smile at your little jr, business woman. You are SO proud of her. You use this as a good excuse for a lecture on the work ethic and how one must work hard to get what you want

Then you start thinking about her knocking on doors, as she doggedly goes to each house. You fondly remember your sister snd you hawking over-priced candy, getting your cheek pinched by blue-haired old ladies praising your diligence (just what were they doing to suddenly get the munchies anyway?) Though my experience was not bad. It is a different world now.

I could see her going door to door, getting sucked inside by some pervert wanting to do strange things to her body? Suddenly I inform her not to go out selling without me.

Every night I come home from work, dinner needs to be cooked, there is major laundry to do, and the kids all have homework they need help with. I really mean to go out with her but it just keeps getting put on the back burner.

One night, when you get home, she is wailing to beat the band (not the one she is fundraising fior) All her stuff is due the next day and you guys never got to go selling. To top it off, she has her heart set on one of the awards for the most selling. A stuffed creature that retails for about $3.50.

You suddenly find yourself eating all those words of lecture, before you know it, your guilt has propeled you into being the new proud owner of 52 boxes of technicolor gummy worms.

I think Santa and the Easter Bunny are going to get worm farms to help fill their candy needs.

Now I know organizations like the band or church, or even the girl scouts need fundraising activities.Would'nt it be better if you could be supporting them while your daughter( and you ) sit safely in your home shopping in your mall for things you buy anyway (everyone needs deodorant, right?) Well with my power mall, it can be a reality, click on the upper left logo to view the movie.

TRUST ME! cynical,make-money Famous last words?

I am a cynical person. That is just who I am. Oh, I am forever hopeful that everythjing will just turn out, but reality doesn't always have the same idea. I am not a pessimist. I am not an optimist. I am a realist.

Anyone that knows me knows I have gone with the above philosophy.

At the sane time, I have been trying for about the last three years to make money, but have failed.I have spent money on a product. Money I did not have, so somebody else could stay home all day and not work. I don't begrudge them that. Maybe someday it will be me with my powermall

Been in an MLM, ( Still believe in the product) bought a few bum products. and a coupla failed websites. Namely, been around a few scams and this is not one, I know, its too good to be true. I figure what am I losing? There is no investament required (except your time) if it starts charging me for anything, I will be oughta there!
I don't blame other prople for being cynical. It's become a universe where you have to post a guard on your cedit card! Buyer Beware! This company does not want for themselves. They were put into existence for the purpose of helping others. WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE?

bbrr-Who's afraid of unrelated business income tax

It is cold here. It was so cold in my computer room , I was starting to blog, but my fingers kept freezing. I'm starting to envy the short sleeves on that little Ethiopian girl, but thats about all I envy. I told you I'd find out all about UBIT and I did! I slogged through many (feels like thousands) dry, boring, IRS journals so you don't have to. I have written the following article. I hope it is a help.

Who’s afraid of unrelated business tax?

Not- for profit corporations often hear the words unrelated business income tax and they scoop up their exemptions and run for the hills This is partly due to litigation signed by the President in August 2006. It doesn’t have to be feared and is often needed for the continued performance of the exempt company
Unrelated business income tax (or UBIT ) is incurred when that company takes part in a trade or business. that is NOT substantially going to further its exempt purpose. (Furthering it’s income does not count.. Knowing the I.R.S .the definition is not quite simple as that. In an effort to define there are a number of modifications, exclusions, and exceptions .These can be confusing.. Those exceptions are;1.) Volunteer Labor- Any trade or business which uses virtually all of its labor on volunteer basis from members, is excluded from paying unrelated business tax. It seems church bake sales are safe 2) Another place of safety, is any business or trade in business for the convenience of its members. An example of this would be a hospital cafeteria, if the hospital was a non-profit one. The last type of exception would be:3) The reselling or selling of donated merchandise Oftentimes in an effort to donate, companies will donate goods which can either be used or re-sold by the non-profit. This kind of trade is also exempt from unrelated business tax.
To extend the confusion and muddied waters more interpretation of the word substantial is going to be wide. A good rule of thumb in deciding if an activity would be considered for unrelated business tax is all in the size of the event .Ask yourself the following questions: Is the activity of a size that would be comparable to the members of that group.? Another question would be if the activity is meant to comparable with regular trade or business?
Unrelated business income tax is not the end of the earth. Non-profits are finding it increasingly necessary to dabble in the business world in order to generate the income needed to accomplish their tax exempt purpose .It will not affect the non profits tav exemption if they simply comply with the law, admit and remit the tax.
Hope this kind of clears things up for you a bit

Actually it's more like Day7

Well , I have to start this blog offf with another apology. I have'nt been back here in while. To tell you the truth I came back, but I had wanted to share the above photo with you but the feature on blogger that allows you a photo was broke and I didn't know what to do.The following picture is of a little girl from Uganda (Ethiopia) She is being helped by Together We Can Change the World. The Parent Corporation behind My Power Mall.
I have decided that I was obvioudly biased about My Power mall, so I'm just going to tell you the facts. You intelligent enough to be reading this , afterall.
Recently I have been talking to people from NPO's (non-profit organizations). I would think it was a no-brainer for them. I would think they would get sick of asking the same people for money sll the time(Sigh) I know though that everything has a bit of a political nature when in any organization. It's going to involve lots of discussion.
One thing I think they seem concernned about about is something called UBIT ( Unrelated Business Income Tax) I believe this is one of the dividing lines in what keeps non-profits, non- profit. I will find out more and tell you guys. Until lter then...

Day 3

I owe you guys an apology. I didn't mean to sound like an advertisement but I think
I do. In case you hadn't noticed, I really believe in this program now, but I started out as being skeptical.
I checked with the online BBB, in forums where they talk about busuess opportunities, places people would have complained about the company Zilch, nada, nothing I can find nothing. You can bet I checked everywhere.
A very strong reason that I think this company will succeed, is they really want to change the world and help peoples lives, I know it sounds jinda like....sure. But its true. They have a program where they feature One-Child- At- A-Time, in which 6.5% of corporate profitsgo to help a needy child, featured on the company website.
Now I am not a saint. I will venture to say I will not be cannonized soon,( or in this century)
but is'nt that what it is all about? People helping people, not selling you something you don;t want, need, and can't really pay for. More tommorrow.......

Day 2

Let me tell you how this works. My Power mall is free of charge. You are given the option to either accept the mall for your own personal use (If you do, you will not make money) and the person who invited you to take the mall will make alot less, or as a business where you can earn commissions. If you take this option , you can earn as deep as nine levels. Simply, to keep your mall you must make one purchase online through your mall, that you would make anyhow. Certain stores (over 1000) provide my power mall members a rebate. That rebate is split amongst the levels. You are given, YES GIVEN everything to make this business work! You ask why companies are willing to give my power mall members a rebate? Well they are selling merchandise without having to pay for advertising, rent, employee's etc

Well I have been over the contract a couple of times. There seems to be nothing questionable in the fine print either. No malware, spyware or third party agencies either. I did introduce it to some friends. Some are interested, some want to wait to see what I do. I think that is a pretty funny position to take since it is free. Its not like they lose anything. This has a great chance of working. It will work. A famous Network marketeer said to build success, you should position yourself in front of a trend. What could be more of an upcoming trend ( thinking of higher gas prices) than shopping on the internet? They have something called a local merchant program. I will find out and tell you tommorrow..

Day 1

Well I am sure you would like to know just what a my power mall is, what it does, how it works, and the reasons for my thinking when I got the mall

My power mall is a downloadable shopping mall designed to help everybody! Best of all it is available absolutely free of charge! That's right your ears are not plugged. It can either be utilized to enhance your , own private shopping needs by providing a discount, or as a home based business. The potential for making money is mind -boggling but whose to say what your own effort will be. It helps a random child picked by a charity,

To understand about why I made this decision first you need to know some history. I live on a limmited income and decided two years ago it just was not enough to make ends meet.So I started on a search for a home-based business. Long search, but finally ended up with an MLM company. It cost to join (which I could not afford) but they ALL said it took money to make money! After paying for leads and other programs to make my business work,I was in credit card trouble.I have started two websites that did not work.

Once biten, twice shy. This program is totally free! Once a member, you have a full month to take action.Time enough to kick the tires and read all the small print. Tell ya more tommorrow, If you have questions or comments just ask ..
